Simone Johnson reports to the WWE Performance Center

-

Simone Johnson, daughter of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has reported to the WWE Performance Center to start her training. Under the tutelage of Matt Bloom and Sara Amato this would make Johnson the first fourth-generation Superstar.

Cathy Kelley was the one to break this news on WWE NOW. She states that she will have a sit-down interview with Johnson to speak on her signing and having to live up to her family legacy. This will take place this coming Wednesday at 3 P.M. ET on WWE’s official YouTube channel.

Johnson had the following to say during a press release:

“It means the world to me. To know that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity, not only to wrestle but to carry on that legacy.”

Triple H would also add to this news by saying, “Simone Johnson’s unbridled passion and incredible drive has earned her a coveted spot training with the elite athletes from around the world at the WWE Performance Center. Not only does Simone now have an opportunity to cultivate and display her passion for WWE within the Performance Center, but she’ll carry on the tradition of her incredible family lineage while creating her own impact as WWE’s first fourth-generation Superstar.”

There were prior reports on Johnson training at the WWE Performance Center in 2018. However, at that time she was still under the age of 18.
