Evolve Women’s Champion Nikkita Lyons has her next opponent, and her name is Skylar Rae.
On the Sept. 2 episode of EVOLVE, a Fatal Four way took place to determine the number one contender. Rae was joined by Zena Sterling, Laynie Luck, and Wren Sinclair. The final moments of the match had Rae take out Sinclair on the outside with a tornado DDT off the ring apron.
Inside the ring left Sterling and Luck as Luck connected with an enziguri. Sterling rolled out of the ring as the lights flashed with Luck all alone in the ring. Vanta the Unknown appeared and took out Luck, which allowed Rae to capitalize. Rae landed Starstruck to get the pin and the victory.
As Lyons came face-to-face with her next opponent in the ring, Wendy Choo’s face flashed on the screens as we saw previously.
