SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair has a match confirmed for WrestleMania Backlash in a couple of weeks. She will put her title on the line against Bayley. But tonight, they will be on the opposite side of the ring from one another in a mixed-tag team match.
As for the tag team division, Natalya & Tamina are continuously after the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax. Tamina earned a win on Jax last week and Natalya scored a victory over Baszler the week before. On the red brand, both Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke along with Naomi & Lana have had their eye on the gold as well. The Riott Squad hasn’t been seen since WrestleMania.
A match for the tag titles has not been booked yet for WrestleMania Backlash at this time.
Sonya Deville stepped in and made a last-minute decision on RAW to reinstate Charlotte Flair. Deville is generally an authority on SmackDown but decided to go through with her decision on RAW without checking with Adam Pearce first. She also booked Flair’s match with Mandy Rose as well. Will Pearce have anything further to say to Deville tonight?
