Tonight’s SmackDown from St. Louis, Missouri has a name backstage that is being reported as the person to answer Ronda Rousey’s SmackDown Women’s Championship open challenge.
According to a new report by PWInsider, former WWE talent Emma, also known as Tenille Dashwood, is at tonight’s SmackDown taping. She is expected to return to the company tonight and be used to answer Rousey’s challenge. She previously worked for WWE from 2011 until she was released in 2017. Her last match was against Asuka on an episode of Raw.
To confirm the reports by PWInsider, Fightful Select is saying the same thing according to their sources. The plans are to bring Dashwood back.
Dashwood recently wrapped up her time in IMPACT Wrestling after spending three years there and becoming one-half of the Knockouts World Tag Team Champions with Madison Rayne. Before that she worked for a brief time with Ring of Honor. Dashwood is also currently in a relationship with SmackDown Superstar Madcap Moss.
