With WrestleDream just 3 days ahead, we get a double dosage of AEW Dynamite and Collision tonight as tensions flare before the big event.
Renee Paquette sits down with both the AEW Women’s World Champion, Kris Statlander, and “Timeless” Toni Storm as they are set to battle for the world title at WrestleDream. The two exchange their final words, and as the violence-free interview is over, they rush to the ring.
The two can’t wait for Saint Louis and start battling in the ring. It ends with the two seemingly on the same playing field.
As the Triangle of Madness intends to run the division, Jamie Hayter wants to put a halt to it as she faces Skye Blue in singles action on Collision tonight.
Hayter gets a bit carried away as she asks Julia Hart to take a free shot at her, but this allows Blue to take Hayter to the floor.
Hayter bounces back, however, and hits a Fallaway Slam on the outside.
The two battle back in the ring, and Hayter hits a hard Hayterade to finish off Skye Blue tonight.
The last member of the Triangle of Madness, Thekla, delivers her message to Hayter before their match at WrestleDream. She reminds Hayter of who she is and wants Hayter to impress her.
Also in singles action on Collision, Harley Cameron takes on the likes of Megan Bayne before their tag match at WrestleDream. Cameron teams up with Willow Nightingale to take on Bayne and Penelope Ford.
Bayne has a message for Nightingale and says she will bow down to her as her fate will always be the same. Nightingale and Cameron hit the ring and deliver a Double DDT to make their message also clear.
Cameron survives the onslaught of Bayne in their match and delivers a powerbomb from the top rope, almost putting her out. But it’s just not enough as Bayne sends her crashing onto the canvas with a running Liger Bomb to pick up the win.
