Stephanie Vaquer has taken WWE by storm ever since she debuted in NXT. Since then, she is now a member of the Raw roster after winning gold multiple times in NXT. However, for Vaquer this wasn’t her first try at the big leagues.
In 2018, Vaquer had tried out for WWE very early on in her career. When she did not get to he a part of WWE at that time she realized she needed more experience and worked for promotions in both Japan and Mexico.
On the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, the Bella twins interviewed the newest Raw talent. Nikki said they would interview women weekly leading up to Evolution.
”Long time ago, seven years ago, I did a tryout for WWE,” Vaquer said.
“I did, but not good, I’m green. I needed to learn more, so in the beginning for me I felt a lot of frustration. WWE is my dream and I’m not ready but I really want (it), so I start training different discipline and say, okay, I go to Mexico, I learn more. I need to go all over the world, the planet, and learn different style(s). Really conquer styles and learn, so over the last seven years I’ve worked really really hard. In Japan and Mexico I learned Mexican style, go to Japan, learned Japanese style. Learn a little bit of Japanese language, maybe my Japanese is better than my English.”
Vaquer recently participated in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and in the first-round of the Queen of the Ring Tournament.
