At STARDOM’s All Star Grand Queendom event on Sunday, Mayu Iwatani’s two year reign as the NJPW IWGP Women’s Champion came to an end.
Syuri captured the gold at the event by getting the pin after connecting with the Syu-Sekai. After the match, Sareee confronted Syuri and the two participated in a staredown. Ahead of this match between Iwatani and Syuri, Sareee felt that she should have been the one to challenge and take the belt off of Iwatani.
Iwatani had previously defend the IWGP Women’s Title successfully against both Syuri and Sareee.
