The former Stardom World Champion Syuri has confirmed that she will be taking a hiatus from the promotion.
Syuri will be taking some time away from the ring to heal from long-term injuries and study abroad to improve herself. She will be missing the 2025 5STAR Grand Prix, which she won in 2021. This is Syuri’s first extended break in wrestling since returning from a run with the UFC. She’s been a consistent performer in-ring since 2019.
Recently, Syuri dropped the IWGP Women’s Title to Sareee after a short reign. Her goal when returning is to recapture it.
