Tag Team Scene Explodes In Raw Main Event As Judgment Day Is Fully Back

WWE’s women’s tag team division is firing shot after shot as it may be more stacked than ever.

So much so, they opened and closed the Dec. 1 episode of Raw. The Kabuki Warriors may be the current Women’s Tag Team Champions, but it looks like with Liv Morgan’s return, The Judgment Day is about to take over.

With Morgan’s return, she joined the Judgment Day in the ring to mock John Cena who didn’t see it coming at Survivor Series.

To start the show, we have two tag teams who were allies in WarGames, and who came out with the victory. First, Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY entered the ring. They stated WarGames may be over, but they aren’t nearly done with The Kabuki Warriors. Wanting to face The Kabuki Warriors for the titles prompted the former champions, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss to emerge. The former champions join RhIYO in the ring.

The two teams understand they had put their differences aside for WarGames (moreso Charlotte and Rhea) and now both teams want tag team gold. So a number one contenders match was booked for the main event.

Later in the night, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria threw their names in contention to go after the tag team titles. While speaking with Adam Pearce, they pled their case and got a “consideration” from Pearce. The Kabuki Warriors interrupted this and Asuka stated it was Bayley’s fought that her team lost at WarGames. She blames Bayley because she didn’t want to join the team. They call each other idiots before Asuka says she is a champion and asks Bayley what is she?

Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer was backstage with Jackie Redmond talking about her win against Nikki Bella at Survivor Series. Potential opponents were brought up just as Morgan stepped up to the champ. Morgan said she just wanted to say she was back and congratulated Vaquer.

The main event had the aforementioned tag team number one contenders match. Highlights of the match included a portion where it was just Ripley vs. Flair which was storytelling at its finest based on recent events and their history. The match was great, however, didn’t get to an ending as Asuka and Kairi Sane caused a No Contest as they rushed down the ring to attack both teams.

We weren’t finished there folks! Bayley and Valkyria made their way down to the ring and took the fight to the current tag team champions. Lastly, the Judgment Day came out from the crowd to put the cherry on top. Morgan attacked Valkyria and Sane as Perez and Rodriguez entered the ring. They took out Asuka and Bayley before standing tall.

Rodriguez grabbed one of the tag belts as Perez went to hand Morgan the other one. Morgan gave it back to her and raised the hands of Rodriguez and Perez signaling the next tag team champions.
