Tasha Steelz on potentially winning the Knockouts Tag Team Titles

Tasha Steelz along with her partner Kiera Hogan is one of four teams left vying to become the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions. After much speculation by talent and fans alike, IMPACT announced the return of the tag team championships with them being crowned at their January event, Hard to Kill. Leading up to that we have been seeing a series of matches in a tournament.

Steelz & Hogan defeated The Sea Stars in the first round and now have to face another popular team of Taya Valkyrie & Rosemary. If they manage to get by these two former Knockout Champions then they will see themselves in the finals.

What would it mean to Steelz if she were to win this title with Hogan? She spoke recently with Women’s Wrestling Talk where she explained this win would be history-making.

“We just have to stay focus and that is what we have been doing. We have been staying focus and just outshining the competition. Not to say it’s easy, it’s not easy, because everyone brings their own style in every different way. You know, everyone is just so tough, we have tough competitors but we have just been keeping ourselves mentally and physically focused. We have been working out ten times harder… We are going to show the world why we deserve it and I believe we will be the first African American tag team in IMPACT to be tag team champions. That would be great for us, we will be creating a new history.”

Steelz also commented on who she would love to be in a faction with. Of course, she still includes Hogan and in addition, would select Diamante and Big Swole.

“I think we had this in our mind already. It would be me, Kiera, Diamante, Big Swole,” Steelz said.

Are Steelz and Hogan your pick to win the tournament and become the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions? They face Valkyrie and Rosemary next week. Rosemary has a chance to become a double champion as she faces Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Title this Saturday at Final Resolution on IMPACT Plus.
