Tegan Nox is making her welcoming return to NXT and it is coming soon. Nox has recently returned to NXT UK after a year out on the sidelines due to a career-threatening ACL tear. That injury took place during the Mae Young Classic over a year ago. She was rumored as a possible winner of that tournament which made the injury that more devastating.
In her first match back, Nox made quick work of her opponent Shax defeating her with the Shiniest Wizard. After the match, NXT UK Women’s Champion, Kay Lee Ray interrupted her celebration and challenged Nox to a match.
The match took place at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff tapings and was shown on the WWE Network this past week. Kay Lee Ray would emerge victorious in their non-title match after she mercilessly targeted Nox’s knee.
Last week on NXT they ran a segment about Tegan Nox. This included the injury, the turmoil, and the long road back to the ring.
Nox’s return to NXT is perfectly timed as fellow Team Kick teammate, Dakota Kai has also just returned from an ACL injury. We would love to see Team Kick reunite and potentially have a run as the Women’s Tag-Team Champions.
The duo could team up with Candice LeRae and take on Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. There is a potential feud with Rhea Ripley because it was against Ripley that Nox injured her knee in the Mae Young Classic.
