6. Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Asuka — WrestleMania 34

By the time WrestleMania 34 arrived, Asuka was untouchable. Riding a 900-plus day undefeated streak that stretched back to NXT, she entered the night as one of the most protected and dominant competitors in WWE. After winning the Royal Rumble, her rise felt inevitable. This was her moment to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship and cement her place at the top of the division.

Standing in her way, however, was Charlotte Flair.

Presented as the first true women’s singles showcase at WrestleMania in years, the match carried a supercharged big-fight feel. From Charlotte’s entrance on the golden throne to the energy inside the stadium, everything about it signaled something significant. The two women met the moment with a highly competitive, submission-heavy battle that saw them targeting each other’s limbs and constantly trading control. Counters, reversals, and near-falls kept the outcome uncertain as the match escalated.

In a shocking turn, Flair locked in the Figure Eight and forced Asuka to submit, ending her historic streak on the grandest stage of them all. There may have been no better opponent to end that run. The victory didn’t just preserve Flair’s title. It defined her, reinforcing her status as the division’s ultimate big-match performer.

5. Becky Lynch (c) vs. Bianca Belair — WrestleMania 38

When Becky Lynch returned at SummerSlam 2021 and defeated Bianca Belair in under 30 seconds, it felt like the end of The EST’s rise almost as quickly as it began. In an instant, she was knocked off the top and forced to rebuild from the ground up.

What followed was a long and meaningful journey back. While Belair fought her way through the division to earn another opportunity, Lynch thrived in her heel turn, putting together a dominant title run that once again showcased why she is one of the most versatile performers in WWE.

By the time WrestleMania 38 arrived, the story had come full circle. Bianca entered in unforgettable fashion, accompanied by Texas Southern University’s “Ocean of Soul” marching band in one of the greatest WrestleMania entrances of all time. This wasn’t just a championship match. It was a must-win moment, an opportunity to right a wrong on the biggest stage.

When the bell rang, we saw a fast-paced, hard-fought battle between two of the division’s very best. Belair’s power and athleticism were on full display, while Lynch controlled the tempo and drew the crowd further against her with each passing moment. Mid-match, a misstep during a Molly-Go-Round saw Lynch’s heel catch Belair in the eye, leaving her visibly injured and forcing her to fight through adversity once again. But the longer the match went, the more it felt inevitable. Belair weathered everything Lynch threw at her before finally putting her away to reclaim the Raw Women’s Championship in a decisive, cathartic victory.

In that moment, Belair became undeniable, a made woman in WWE. And in defeat, Lynch once again proved her value, elevating her opponent and reinforcing her role as the division’s ultimate star maker.
