The Five to Watch 2012: Kimber Lee

Welcome to Diva Dirt’s Five to Watch 2012! This annual list compiles five rising talents in the world of female wrestling that we think have what it takes to be the next big thing. From their in-ring abilities to their unique personalities, we aim to spotlight some of the upcoming female talent that you may not yet know about. Over the next five days, we will unveil the names that the Diva Dirt staff have handpicked. Meet the Class of 2012…

KIMBER LEE

Who is she?
A wrestling fan as a child who admired the likes of Chyna, Kimber Lee would often sneak wrestling shows onto her TV in her room, and hope her mom wouldn’t pay attention to her. Moving to Philadelphia, she started training at the age of 19 and made her pro wrestling debut just 18 months ago in May 2011. Since then, she’s quickly become a mainstay in CZW and is beginning to turn catch the attention of other promotions, including WSU.

Her story so far…
Attending a Combat Zone Wrestling show in the old ECW Arena, Kimber would make the decision she wanted to pursue wrestling for a living. After meeting and being offered training by the owner of CZW, Kimber would go on to become the first female graduate of the CZW Academy. In her short career, Kimber has become notable already thanks to some unique credits in CZW, including wrestling a six-person intergender tables match at Cage of Death 13. Earlier this year, the blonde bombshell also made the trip to Japan for the REINA promotion.

Why we chose her:
In just a year and a half, Kimber has worked for the likes of CZW, RCW, WSU, DCW, Side Show Pro, BLOW, AIW, IndyGurlz and REINA in Japan, proving that she’s always working hard to keep improving, whether it be refining her in-ring skills or bettering her chemistry with girls with a whole host of varying styles from across the globe. The wrestler has won the praise of many of her opponents and CZW fans heralding her as a one to watch, so it’s only fitting that she be one of our Five to Watch, too.
