Tiffany Stratton continues her success in WWE and is looking for more accolades. She became the new WWE Women’s United States Champion on the April 24 episode of SmackDown by defeating Giulia who was in her second reign.
While Stratton was left off of this year’s WrestleMania card, she did pay attention to what went on. This includes the return of a former Divas Champion, Paige, who she’d want to get in the ring with. While speaking with the Battleground podcast, Stratton stated:
“I am so happy for all the women. I feel like we’ve come such a long way. We had Liv and Raquel, we had Rhea and Jade, we had the tag match, Paige came back. What an amazing pop, what an amazing moment. That was so cool to watch and then she killed it in the ring. I’m just so happy for everybody. I hope to get in the ring with Paige too.” (Fightful/Transcript)
Stratton has previously defeated WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. She has also retained the WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair at last year’s WrestleMania.
