TLC Match for Women’s Tag Team Title being advertised for next month

Although Survivor Series hasn’t taken place yet, that doesn’t stop the advertising for the next pay-per-view from happening. Next month will be WWE’s annual TLC (Tables, Ladders, & Chairs) event from the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. According to the Target Center’s website, as of now, the plan is to have the Women’s Tag Team Championship defended in a TLC tag team match.

The current champions, The Kabuki Warriors, will be taking on the team of RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. The two former friends turned foes and now tag team partners have been teaming up since last week from the events in Manchester, England, and the Europe tour dates. Originally Flair was teaming with Natalya who picked up a win a couple of weeks ago by causing Asuka to tap out.

Last year we witnessed the SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line in a Triple Threat TLC Match. Lynch was the champion heading into the match but she lost the title to Asuka. Flair was the third participant.

Of course, this is just pure advertisement for now and even their website says it is subject to change. WWE has not announced any official matches for the TLC event at this time.

This year’s TLC pay-per-view will take place on Dec. 15.
