TNA teased for a return and hinted at being used as a show for the Knockouts

IMPACT Wrestling’s Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore has recently gone on record saying that the TNA brand may see a return. The company used the TNA name from 2004 to 2017 before moving forward as IMPACT.

In an interview with Wrestling Perspective Podcast D’Amore had the following to say:

“As we come out of this pandemic environment and get back out there, certainly that’s a possibility. It’s a possibility that the TNA brand could return. I think it’s one of the things many – and certainly not at the top of the list – but one of the things that the pandemic has robbed us of is that opportunity to see a return of TNA. We have so many unbelievable Knockouts. Maybe we’ll end up continuing to grow the Knockouts division and give them their own separate platform.”

Currently, the Knockouts division has twelve women on their roster which includes a returning Taylor Wilde. In addition, Rachael Ellering will be teaming up with Jordynne Grace for this weekend’s Rebellion pay-per-view but a signing for her isn’t yet confirmed. There are further rumors of the division set to grow more in the near future.
