Toni Storm Gets Taken Out, As Mina Shirakawa Goes After Marina Shafir

Coming off a busy AEW Revolution this past Sunday, we look to run back one more match with some heated blood that needs to be resolved.

A No Holds Barred rematch from Revolution between “Timeless” Toni Storm and Marina Shafir was supposed to take place tonight.

But before the match can even take place, Storm is bloodied and taken out backstage. Storm’s tag team partner, Mina Shirakawa, vows to take out whoever did it and goes after the obvious culprit. That being said, Shirakawa will now take Storm’s place in tonight’s match.

Shafir doesn’t admit to what she did or didn’t do. But, she says that Shirakawa made the right choice in taking her on tonight.

The match gets underway, and Shirakawa arrives with a barbed wire bat. Shafir retaliates and says she doesn’t need a bat while taking Shirakawa out.

Shafir tries to make light of the situation and spits champagne into Shirakawa’s face, but Shirakawa attempts to fight back for Storm with a steel chair.

A table gets set up on the floor, and as Shirakawa and Shafir fight on the apron, Shafir lands a Belly To Back Suplex as they both crash into the table.

As Shafir gets distracted by the referee, Shirakawa decides to crack the champagne bottle over Shafir’s head and follows up with a spinning backfist. Shirakawa hits a Storm Zero and gets some much-needed revenge for Storm.
