Toni Storm reportedly injured

NXT UK star Toni Storm is reportedly suffering an undisclosed injury that has caused her to be pulled from this weekend’s shows at wXw and PROGRESS.

Both promotions took to Twitter to announce Storm having to cancel her appearances from the upcoming shows. wXw has added that due to their Women’s Title not being defended in four months, the title has been vacated.

There is speculation that Storm suffered her injury during this past weekend’s NXT UK tapings where a two-day tournament was held to crown the inaugural NXT UK Women’s Champion. Rhea Ripley would go on to defeat Storm in the finals but after the match, the referee threw up the “X” sign. However, it was noted Storm was able to walk to the back on her own:

Toni Storm is also currently slated to compete in the finals of the Mae Young Classic against Io Shirai.
