Toni Storm Secures Another Title Match At AEW All Out

Toni Storm keeps her momentum rolling on AEW Dynamite.

The featured women’s match on the August 17 edition of Dynamite saw number one contender Toni Storm go one-on-one with a former AEW upstart in KiLynn King. The bout was rather evenly matched considering King hasn’t worked an AEW match since March.

Ultimately, Storm secured the victory after around seven minutes of competition. Once again, the women’s match took place around 9:30 ET before the main event.

Moving forward, it has been made official: Toni Storm will challenge Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All Out in Chicago on Sunday, September 4. This will be a rematch from their title bout at Forbidden Door.

Elsewhere in the AEW women’s division, we know that Penelope Ford will return to television when she takes on Athena this Friday on Rampage. Ford, who was last seen in January, returned from injury on this week’s Dark: Elevation where she defeated Heather Reckless.

Lastly, a promo aired for the new faction the TrustBusters. Sonny Kiss has joined the group by recently turning heel on Orange Cassidy. The other three members of the group – Parker Boudreaux, Slim J & Ari Daivari will partake in a first round match for the Trios Championships. That match will take place on this Friday’s Rampage with Kiss in their corner.

Are you excited for Rosa vs. Storm II? Do you think Britt Baker will eventually be added to the match? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments below!
