Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch have unfinished business. In the run-up to last year’s Survivor Series, Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley would clash on NXT for the first time ever. The match was interrupted by Baszler and therefore resulted in a no contest.
Since losing the NXT Women’s Championship to Charlotte at WrestleMania 36, Ripley has fallen down the pecking order as Io Shirai would win the number one contender ladder match the following week.
However, even if Rhea Ripley were to recapture the NXT Women’s Championship, similar to Bianca Belair, it seems as though Ripley has done all she can in NXT.
A move to RAW would be hugely beneficial for both Ripley and the women’s division as a whole. Fresh matches, news feuds along with an injection of youth, hunger and sheer badassery would be nothing short of amazing.
The feud would be simple to step up as both Ripley and Lynch are fighters who love a challenge and the indecisiveness of their previous match is more then enough to rekindle competition between the two.
Rhea Ripley dominated NXT in late 2019. It is time for her to do the same on RAW in 2020?
