At the culmination of the Invasion storyline, a six pack challenge ensued for the vacant Women’s Championship. In the ring with ladies such as Molly Holly and Jazz, Trish was certainly the underdog when she entered the match, with relatively little experience compared to the rest of the women. The majority would have chosen any of the other five ladies competing to take home the gold, but Trish held her own and hit a picture perfect Stratusfaction on Ivory to win her first Women’s Championship. In defeating the impressive offering of Lita, Jazz, Ivory, Mighty Molly and Jacqueline, Trish solidified herself as the woman to beat. It was a long road ahead from there, paved with more gold than any other Diva.
