Update to the participants in the Women’s WarGames Match

Rhea Ripley and Shayna Baszler both appeared on WWE The Bump to announce their teams for NXT TakeOver; WarGames III.

Team Ripley will be – Rhea Ripley (c), Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox and another member to be announced.

Team Baszler will be – Shayna Baszler (c), Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, and another member to be announced.

It was originally speculated that when the match would be a five-on-five affair, with Team Baszler including her long-time running buddies, Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke and Team Ripley having Dakota Kai and possibly Mia Yim in the gang but that is not the case. However, NXT General Manager, William Regal announced via Twitter that Kai would have a chance to prove herself to Captain Ripley in a match with Shayna Bazsler on tonight’s NXT.

The monumental WarGames match will take on Saturday, Nov. 23. at the Allstate Arena, in Rosemont and will air live on the WWE Network.
