Willow Nightingale ‘Breaksthru’ Kamille To Retain; Windsor Calls Out Thekla

With AEW Dynasty wrapping up this past weekend, we have more gold on the line tonight on this special Spring BreakThru edition of AEW Dynamite!

The AEW Women’s World Champion, Thekla, is in the crowd and boasts about her successful defense against Jamie Hayter at Dynasty. Interrupting is the NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, Alex Windsor, who wants to get her hands on Windsor immediately. Windsor reminds her of her history in Japan, but admits that they couldn’t handle her.

Windsor wants to meet Thekla tomorrow on Collision, with the world title on the line. Out of the blue, the Sisters of Sin try to attack Windsor from behind but ultimately fail.

Tomorrow night on Collision, the match is officially made by Tony Khan as Windsor will challenge for the world championship.

The TBS Champion, Willow Nightingale, defends her title against the returning Kamille. After Kamille attacked the TBS Champ during AEW Dynasty Zero Hour, Nightingale is ready to cut her comeback short, but has to fight with a bad shoulder.

Kamille is smart by attacking the injured shoulder of Nightingale and continuing the work she did this past weekend. Nightingale fights back by landing a hard pounce on Kamille and follows up with a cannonball, only for a two-count. Kamille continues to target Nightingale’s shoulder and cranks it in. Out of desperation, Nightingale gets in the Backslide pin to retain her title.

Backstage, Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander are backstage to congratulate Nightingale on the win. Both will team up on Collision tomorrow night, but Statlander doesn’t have much to say about this situation once again.
