Willow Nightingale Defends TBS Title Against A Returning Queen Aminata

With AEW Dynasty just four days away, we have gold on the line tonight as Willow Nightingale looks to defend her title before the prestigious event.

Nightingale’s challenger tonight is Queen Aminata, who was sidelined from action for five months. After getting taken out of the first-ever Blood & Guts match, Aminata is determined to show all of us how she feels heading into this title challenge.

Both have big smiles heading into the match, but Aminata looks to keep her eyes on the prize. As the two brawl on the outside, Hikaru Shida has eyes on this matchup.

As they fight their way back in the ring, Amina sets Nightingale up for some Chocolate Kisses.

Nightingale fights back after a dropkick from the second rope and a Death Valley Driver for a two count. Aminata eats a cannonball on the outside, but Nightingale misses the Moonsault as Aminata tries to knock her out. Nightingale takes a Diving Footstomp only for a two-count.

Both trade hard blows, but both their heads meet in the middle of the ring. Nightingale tries to pop the Babe With The Powerbomb, but Aminata counters with an Air Raid Crash for a two-count. Aminata gets hit with a Pounce as she retreats out of the ring, but Nightingale finally hits Babe With The Powerbomb to retain her title.

The AEW Women’s World Champion, Thekla, will defend her title against a former champion, Jamie Hayter. Thekla is tired of hearing that Hayter is a former champ, but the kingdom has changed since she was champ. She reminds Hayter that she was the first one she took out and that she is “the dumbest b*tch alive.”

What did you think of tonight’s AEW Dynamite? Whose next in line for the TBS Championship? Can Hayter make Thekla eat her words come Dynasty? Let us know in the comments below!
