Willow Nightingale Suffers Broken Hand Ahead Of All In

Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Moné are running it back at AEW’s All In this Sunday. This time for the AEW Women’s World Title. Moné earned this title shot after winning the Owen Hart Cup in back-to-back years.

During the All In media call, CEO Tony Khan confirms Nightingale is dealing with a broken hand. He added that plans changed for Dynamite and Collision, but Willow is still defending the AEW Women’s Championship against Mercedes Moné at All In.

“That’s true. Willow’s hand is injured. It was a late change. Sometimes, when you’re going into wrestling tapings and shows, you have ideas and an outline. You come in and you have something happen like that, with Willow’s hand being broken on the day you’re filming Dynamite and Collision, that’s a major change. The team did a great job in the situations yesterday. I had plans for Willow yesterday that I had to change based on the injury. It is the case that Willow is injured and will be wrestling with the injury. Expect to see Willow Nightingale at AEW All In. Yes, she has a hand injury but she really wants to wrestle Mercedes and she really wants to wrestle at All In and defend that world championship. I know Willow Nightingale is a fighter, she’s proved by holding multiple championships in AEW that she’s a fighting champion.” (Fightful/Transcript)
