April 7th, 1986
At the second WrestleMania, Fabulous Moolah defended the Women’s Championship she infamously won from Wendi Richter. Former Women’s Tag Team Champion Velvet McIntyre was her challenger
The match was notably short, lasting just a minute. Moolah would claim victory in shady fashion, pinning Velvet off of a missed splash, the referee unaware that Velvet had her foot on the bottom rope. Her rope break going unnoticed, Velvet lost the match, allowing Moolah to extend her reign as Women’s Champion.
