WWE Queen’s Crown Tournament confirmed to start on Oct. 8 SmackDown

The rumor mill has been buzzing for the past number of months that WWE was set to have its first Queen of the Ring style tournament. Named as “Queen’s Crown Tournament,” an advertisement aired on tonight’s SmackDown confirming it will indeed take place. It will start on Oct. 8 during the season premiere of SmackDown. It will continue on Oct. 11 on RAW.

The matches/brackets were not confirmed at the time of the announcement. It was previously reported by Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Podcast that the finals will take place on Oct. 21 at Crown Jewel but this has not been confirmed by WWE at this time.
