In this edition of TNA Impact, it’s All Stars vs Champions as the Knockouts are in action tonight!
Former TNA Knockouts World Champion, NXT’s Arianna Grace, is here tonight to witness the singles match between her boyfriend Stacks, and her father, Santino Marella. She blames her father for her shortcomings and hopes to send him to a retirement home.
With the help of Grace, Stacks ends up defeating Marella. They look to humiliate him post-match, but Indi Hartwell comes out to save the day. Hartwell offers a tag match tonight to team up with Marella against Grace and Stacks. Daria Rae comes out and voids the tag match for tonight, but says she would love to see Stacks beat Marella next week.
Tessa Blanchard and Harley Hudson are set to go one-on-one tonight without their usual backup. Hudson gets the best of Blanchard early on in the match, but Blanchard catches Hudson on the apron and drives her knee through that mat on the outside. Blanchard
targets Hudson’s knee throughout the match, but Hudson tries to fight through the pain.
Both head up to the top rope, and Hudson unfortunately gets caught. Blanchard drives her knees into Hudson’s skull, but only gets a two-count. Hudson’s base is shaken as Blanchard hits a Buzzsaw DDT for the win.
Tonight in our main event, is the Knockouts Champions Challenge as Elayna Black, Xia Brookside, and Mara Sadé with Keith Jardine take on the TNA Knockouts World Champion, Lei Ying Lee, and the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, The Elegance Brand. The teams are volatile to say the least, but both teams look to prove themselves tonight.
George Iceman tells Lee not to mess things up, but our Knockouts Champion is ready to fight.
Brookside and Black want no part in facing Lee, as Sadé looks to square up with the Knockouts champ. It’s a flurry of forced tags, and Brookside is in trouble as she gets hit by a Coast to Coast by M By Elegance. Things break apart as everyone spills to the outside. Sadé looks to finish Heather By Elegance, but M by Elegance doesn’t allow that to happen. The Elegance Brand refuses to tag back in Lee as they work on Sadé.
Sadé finds an opening and hits a Springboard Crossbody to get the hot tag out. Brookside and Lee get the hot tag in as these two finally throw hands. Lee lands Warrior’s Way on Brookside, but Black attempts to break it up. Mr. Elegance tries to get involved, but Jardine puts a stop to it and chases George Iceman to the back. However, Mr. Elegance is still on the apron and stops Lee in her tracks. This allows Brookside to hit Darkside and earn herself a future shot at the Knockouts Championship.
