Happy Pride Month to everyone in the Diva Dirt community who celebrates! On June 2, 2026, NXT returned to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando with the women’s division getting some important movement toward the Great American Bash, that will be taking place on June 27th. Let’s dive in!
Zaria vs. Lizzy Rain
Zaria started strong by driving Lizzy Rain into the turnbuckle, but Rain quickly answered with a dropkick, a headscissors, and a kick to the head. Zaria avoided a DDT and took control with a pump kick before sending Rain hard into the corner.
Tatum Paxley appeared at ringside with the NXT Women’s North American Championship, which briefly distracted Zaria and allowed Rain to get a rollup for two. Zaria responded by punching Rain off the turnbuckle to the floor before the match continued through the break.
Rain had a very good showing after the break, hitting a hurricanrana off the top, a clothesline, a springboard back elbow, a Tornado DDT, a Cutter, and a spinning slam off the shoulders for a nearfall. Zaria kept cutting her off with power, including a headbutt, a knee smash, a discus clothesline, a German Suplex, and a Spear before finishing Rain with her version of the F5.
Winner by pinfall: Zaria
Super solid TV match. Zaria winning was the right call, though I expected her to look a little more dominant. That is not a knock on Rain, who continues to look like a very natural babyface. After the match, Zaria wanted to do more damage, but Tatum Paxley made the save. Paxley told Zaria that if she wanted the title so badly, she could have her match next week.
Lola Vice Addresses The NXT Women’s Division
Lola Vice entered as the NXT Women’s Champion and one-half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions. Vice said she knocked out Izzi Dame last week just like she promised, and she continues proving she is the complete package.
Vice talked about envisioning herself as NXT Women’s Champion and said she does not make excuses. Her question was simple: who is next? She said she loves that the women in NXT are eyeing her championship, but warned that whoever steps up will be embarrassed and knocked out.
Kelani Jordan interrupted and said it is finally time for her NXT Women’s Championship opportunity. Jordan said she has made herself impossible to deny, credited Vice for becoming champion, and brought up her run as TNA Knockouts Champion. Jordan said that instead of being praised, she was questioned and criticized, which led to her being kicked out of the locker room.
Jordan said she is done asking and demanding. She reminded Vice that she has tapped her out and has beaten Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair. Vice fired back by saying that if you blinked, you missed Jordan’s Knockouts Title reign. Rude? Yes. Effective? Also yes.
Kendal Grey then interrupted with Wren Sinclair, who had her left knee bandaged and was using a crutch. Grey said she has already proven she deserves a title shot because she won Iron Survivor and pinned both Vice and Jordan. Grey also called out Jordan for what she did to Wren, while Jordan said all she needs is one opportunity and claimed Grey cannot win the big one.
Vice made the call for next week: Kendal Grey vs. Kelani Jordan in a number one contender’s match, with the winner facing Vice for the NXT Women’s Championship at Great American Bash.
Jordan then grabbed Vice’s title. Vice threw an elbow, Jordan moved, and Vice accidentally hit Grey instead. Jordan left while Vice realized what happened.
That contender’s match was pretty clearly where this was heading, and that is fine by me. Jordan and Grey had a great match a few weeks ago, so running it back with title stakes makes sense.
Jaida Parker And Natalya Continue
Backstage, Jaida Parker was with Evolve Champion when Natalya showed up to say Parker barely beat Nattie’s student last week. Nattie called Parker’s performance less than mediocre, which is certainly one way to start a workplace conversation.
Parker suggested they take it to the ring or outside, but Natalya said she was not afraid and saw through Parker’s intimidation. Nattie said Parker may scare everyone else, but she knows Parker is soft.
Parker did not respond, which honestly made the moment hit a little harder. This is clearly building toward Parker vs. Natalya, and I am here for Jaida getting tested in that kind of veteran program.
Kendal Grey And Wren Sinclair Talk Next Week
Later backstage, Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair talked about what happened earlier. Wren told Grey that she needed to face Kelani Jordan on her own next week, without Wren there.
That is the right call for the story. Grey needs to prove she can get past Jordan without extra drama, especially with an NXT Women’s Championship match at Great American Bash on the line.
Announced For Next Week’s NXT
