The second week of NXT’s Revenge ends with Zaria standing tall as she watches he former best friend fall through a table below her.
The main event of this week’s NXT was a Last Woman Standing Match between Zaria and Sol Ruca. Ruca has been called up to Raw, so this was certainly her NXT swan song and Zaria got the last laugh.
The final moments of the match led the two competitors to the top of the second stage structure in the audience. Ruca hit Zaria with a Sol Snatcher and was moments away from launching her bestie off the structure onto the two tables set up below. Zaria had a change of heart, or so Ruca thought, as the two hugged. However, Zaria’s face turned back into an evil grin as she shoved Ruca off the platform and she crashed through one table and seemingly hit her head on the other in a nasty fall. At the time of this writing, there is no update to make sure Ruca is okay.
Ruca was moving her body at least, but she did not budge to get to her feet by the count of 10, marking Zaria as the winner.
Earlier in the show, Blake Monroe wasn’t able to become NXT Women’s North American Champion once again as Tatum Paxley retained They battled in a Casket match which resulted in Monore being shut in the casket to end the match. Before The Glamour landed into her final resting place, Paxley hit her with Cemetery Drive on top of a bed of diamonds.
The NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice was met with Izzi Dame who is claiming her shot as the next opponent to Vice. Vice won her rematch against Jacy Jayne last week to retain.
Dame and the rest of The Culling surrounded Vice in the ring and left Dame to drop the champion and raise the title herself in the air.
