Formerly known as Zoey Stark in WWE, the newly named Zoey “The Purist” Serrano has posted a video on her social media as a comeback story. She highlights her recovery from a knee injury while revealing she will use her real last name Serrano moving forward.
In April, Stark was a part of the most recent WWE releases. She confirmed the news on her social media. One year ago on May 19, 2025 on an episode of Raw, Stark suffered a knee injury to her ACL, MCL & meniscus that required surgery. She had recently been cleared to return to the ring prior to her release and according to her new video, she plans on continuing with her passion. She will be available as of July 24. This is when her 90 day non compete clause is up.
“This is my home. This is where I live. This is what I love to do. When I was a kid, it was my escape through any type of hardship. Put on wrestling, I can escape from the world and just be in that brand with whoever I’m wanting. I made it come true. Now, imagine what it would be like my 90 days are over.”
Stark was signed to WWE for five years and is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.
