10 Women Who Should Hold Their First Singles Title In 2023

Cora Jade

It is inevitable that Cora will become a singles champion in 2023. Considering that her former best friend turned bitter rival (Roxanne Perez) is now the NXT Women’s Champion it would be to no one’s surprise if Cora became champion eventually. Since turning heel Cora has really come into her own and can certainly hold up a division.

Sonya Deville

It feels downright criminal that Sonya Deville is yet to hold any title at all in WWE. She had multiple opportunities at both the tag titles and even singles titles but it has never panned her way. Sonya has been with WWE since 2015 and currently is quite lost in the shuffle. Some redirection for her could do wonders. Perhaps starting back in NXT.

Kris Statlander

Kris has had a rough going with injuries during her time with AEW. She is currently out with her second ACL injury and just when she was perhaps being positioned to take the TBS Championship. When she returns, she will likely be placed back into a title picture but this time she should go for the top title and go after the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Gisele Shaw

Being one of the newest Knockouts in IMPACT, Gisele has been a great addition. The moniker of Quintessential Diva works well for her and she has potential to carry the division at some point in 2023, especially with the roster that needs to grow.

Ruby Soho

Ruby has had a few opportunities to grab gold since joining AEW but it hasn’t favored her. Out of the women who have gone to AEW from WWE, Soho hasn’t had the best track record when it comes to the spot light. In 2023 it is time to get her some gold finally in her career and that can be with the TBS Championship to build her up to the AEW Women’s Title.

Who would you like to see win their first championship in 2023?
