Boss ‘N Glow’s Next Challengers Step Up On SmackDown

Boss ‘N Glow (Sasha Banks & Naomi) continued to prove that they are fighting champions as their next challengers stepped up on this week’s SmackDown.

Banks & Naomi won the Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 38 earlier in the month in a Fatal 4-way. However, there is one team left that they haven’t officially defeated for the belts yet and that is Natalya and Shayna Baszler.

Prior to Baszler and Natalya making their way out to the ring, the champions were discussing how there is no competition left. They sent Carmella off on her honeymoon, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan self-destructed, so it really doesn’t matter who steps up next.

A match for the tag gold hasn’t been confirmed just yet, but according to reports on SmackDown that was pretaped for next week, Naomi will be taking on Shayna Baszler.

Also next week, the newest member of the SmackDown women’s roster, Raquel Rodriguez will make her in-ring debut.

Xia Li, who we have not seen in weeks, appears to be turning heel. Li was drafted to SmackDown and called up to the main roster last October. Since then, when she has appeared on screen, she has been “The Protector” and has had a mission to help others such as Aliyah. Now, Li states that she sees no one worthy that needs to be protected so she is here to protect herself instead.

Lastly, the next chapter in Lacey Evan’s return story was aired. She says at a young age she taught herself if she wanted something done right she had to do it herself. She spoke further about her father and how her mother was not present when she was growing up.
