Hola a todos, and welcome to the CMLL weekly review! This week, there were two announcements for two future crossover events: AEW’s Grand Slam México and NJPW FantasticaMania 2025, on June 18th and June 20th, respectively.
Last Tuesday, en los Martes de Glamour, from la arena coliseo de Guadalajara, Kira faced off against Dark Silueta in a match relámpago with a ten-minute time limit.
A great showing for both wrestlers. Thanks to her technical expertise, Dark Silueta took control, taunted the crowd, and in typical Ruda fashion, tried to take Kira’s mask off.
The high-flying Kira tried to get back on track with a 619 and a suicide dive and was able to get the win not by pinfall but by disqualification after getting hit repetitively by Dark Silueta.
While in México City, we had a six-Amazon tag team match: the babyface team of La Catalina teamed up with the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions Las Chicas Indomables versus Reyna Isis, Sanely, and Olympia.
Las Chicas Indomables got the win for their team after a gory bomb on Sanely into Olympia for the double pin.
The kick demon, Janai Kai, sent a message to Reyna Isis ahead of their May 2nd match. The match will be an MLW vs. CMLL event from La Arena México.
Finally, on Friday, we had another six-woman tag match, this time between the Mexican National Women’s Champion India Sioux, who teamed up with the Mexican National Women’s Tag Team Champions Skadi and Kira, against Hera, Candela, and the CMLL World Women’s Champion Zeuxis.
This match was a very competitive, fast-paced match with a lot of fun inside and outside of the ring, full of high-flying moves and combos between both teams. All of them did a great job, but in the end, Zeuxis was able to get the win, proving why she is the reigning CMLL Women’s Champion.
This will be it for now. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
