Chelsea Green and Ethan Page are the new AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions after winning the gold at the Nov. 2 Day of the Dead event. They defeated La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana who held the gold for 329 days.
Post match, La Hiedra fought with Mr. Iguana and slapped him before walking off. NXT’s Lola Vice, who was on commentary, came over to help Mr. Iguana and had some words with La Hiedra.
Green and Page have recently formed an allyship after Green spending some time in NXT. The duo teamed up in August at NXT Heatwave to defeat Tavion Heights and Tyra Mae Steele. Page is now a double champion as he is the NXT North American Champion. Green has an opportunity to be a double champion as well. She challenges Giulia for the Women’s United States Title on SmackDown this upcoming Friday.
