Alicia Atout named backstage correspondent for AEW

On the new episode of The Road to Double or Nothing, All Elite Wrestling announced their broadcast team for Double or Nothing. First, Alicia Atout will return as the official backstage correspondent.

Atout was also a part of All In. She recently finished up her contract with Impact Wrestling, where she had been conducting interviews as a backstage host since last June. She will make a tremendous addition to the team.

The commentary team will consist of Alex Marvez, Excalibur, and most notably WWE Hall of Famer, Jim Ross. Ross signed a lucrative three-year deal with the promotion, where he will also act as a Senior Advisor. He will make his first appearance at Double or Nothing

“I’ve been part of the wrestling community since I was 7 years old, and there’s no greater thrill than welcoming the voice that I grew up with, Jim Ross, to our AEW family,” said Tony Khan, President of AEW.

On the news Ross said, “I’m moving on in a very positive way to this timely opportunity to be on the ground floor of one of the most exciting moments in the history of pro wrestling.”

Brandi Rhodes brought Justin Roberts back as the company’s ring announcer to round out the crew. He is best known for his work with WWE from 2002 to 2014.
