We have a new Divas Champion! Alicia Fox was just crowned the new champion moments ago defeating Eve Torres, Maryse and Gail Kim in a fatal four-way match.
After Eve hit a moonsault on Maryse, Alicia quickly re-entered the ring, throwing Eve out and stealing the win by pinning Maryse.
This is Fox’s first major championship in professional wrestling. Her only other credit is the OVW Women’s Championship.
Fox — real name Victoria Crawford — joined WWE in 2006 along with Kelly Kelly after being scouted in a catalogue. She spent two years in the developmental system before making her main roster debut in the summer of 2008.
At just 23 years old, Fox makes history as the youngest Diva to win the Divas Championship. I believe [but don’t quote me on this] she may even be the youngest Diva to win a WWE championship, period. [Wendi Richter won the Women’s Title at age 22].
