Bayley has been attacked backstage ahead of the first night of WrestleMania and has been pulled from her tag team match. This was confirmed on the countdown pre-show. She was set to team with the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria to challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. This match is on Sunday’s Night Two of WrestleMania 41.
Although it is unclear who attacked Bayley, Valkyria was there to console her partner. Morgan and Rodriguez had just entered the venue (according to them), and were mocking Bayley’s attack. The Raw General Manager Adam Pearce wasn’t very happy with Morgan and Rodriguez’s reaction and their wanting to take a forfeit victory.
Valkyria was willing to take on the tag champs all by herself, but Pearce told her she has 24 hours to find herself a new partner.
