Becky Lynch Talks Her Raw Absence Since WrestleMania 38

The now-former Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has missed the past two episodes of Raw since dropping the title to Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 38. In a post on WWE’s social media, Lynch was asked about her whereabouts since the big show.

During the WWE Live tour in Syracuse on Sunday, Lynch had the following to say –

“It’s been three years since the last time I walked out on RAW without the championship. I’m not ready to walk out on Monday Night RAW without my championship. I always have a plan, that’s why I’m here in Syracuse because I’m going to win back my championship. I will walk out tomorrow on Monday Night RAW as your new Women’s Champion.”

Lynch faced both the champion Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat with the Raw Women’s Title.

Things didn’t quite work out as planned as Lynch had hoped. Belair retained and Lynch had some more words to say.

“Coming back through the curtain I had a realization. And it was that, I really did win. Because everytime I’ve lost in a big way in the past I’ve come back stronger. Did you notice that? Have you noticed that? Because at SummerSlam 2018 I didn’t win that championship match, but afterwards I became The Man and made a movement. I changed the game. And then at Royal Roumble 2019 I didn’t win the championship match but I came back and won the Royal Rumble and went on to win the main event of WrestleMania. The first time ever. So I really won, I won.”

Lynch showing up on Raw tonight is still to be determined as she is not officially advertised. However, there will be a Women’s Tag Team Championship match between Sasha Banks & Naomi with the challengers Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley. Also a double wedding will be taking place as both Tamina ties the knot with Akira Tozawa and the 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke marries Reggie. What could possibly go wrong?

At this current time, Sonya Deville is slated to take on Belair for the title on the April 25 episode of Raw.

Also over the weekend, on both shows, Charlotte Flair defended the SmackDown Women’s Title against Aliyah. Flair retained on both nights.
