Bianca Belair Retains Raw Women’s Title At Hell in a Cell

Bianca Belair is still your Raw Women’s Champion.

In a match that kicked off the Hell in a Cell event on Sunday, Belair defended her championship against Becky Lynch and Asuka in a stellar Triple Threat. These three women proved why they are some of the best in women’s wrestling by putting on a clinic in front of the Chicago fans.

Match Time – 18:55

The back half of the match witnessed Belair rolling to the outside allowing Lynch to apply the DisarmHer to Asuka on the middle ropes. Belair re-enters and trips up Lynch while Asuka takes out the champ with a hip attack. Lynch goes for a pin with a roll-up but Asuka kicks out and then applies the Asuka Lock. After trading some near falls, Asuka goes for the Asuka Lock again but this time Belair tries to break it up but misses with a stomp from the top rope. Asuka breaks the submission on Lynch and goes for a hip attack on Belair but is caught.

Belair plants Asuka with a Glam Slam into the top turnbuckle. Lynch tosses Belair out in order to plant Asuka with the ManHandle Slam and goes for the cover. However, Belair rushes back into the ring and tosses Lynch out to steal the pin on Asuka to get the victory.

Belair had a Digital Exclusive after her match where she said she was the smartEST as a result of the way she stole the pin from Lynch to retain her gold.

This event had a second match which involved the women of Raw. In a six-person tag team match, The Judgment Day (Rhea Ripley/Edge/Damian Priest) defeated the team of Liv Morgan/AJ Styles/Finn Balor.

Match Time – 16:00

The final moments came down to the men, but the women played a role in the finish. Balor went up top to land the Coup de Grace unto Edge to win the match for his team. Ripley jumped in the middle of Balor and Edge which caused Balor to stop. Morgan would rush in and jump on Ripley to take her out of the situation. Edge gets up and spears Balor for the pin and the victory for the strong faction.
