Big Knockouts Tag Team Title Match Set For Aug. 25 IMPACT

Killer Kelly continues to leave her mark in IMPACT Wrestling.

Killer Kelly stepped in the ring again on the August 18 edition of IMPACT after she overheard Tasha Steelz talking trash about her backstage. Kelly confronted Steelz, but Savannah Evans stepped in between them and a match was made for later in the night.

The bout was short and sweet with Kelly thriving in the David vs. Goliath battle. Kelly managed to apply her Killer Clutch to get Evans to tap out.

Rosemary, who suffered a loss to Gisele Shaw on Before The IMPACT earlier in the night, gathered backstage with Taya Valkyrie and Jessicka to reassess their situations. Before their meeting concluded, Jessicka announced she will make her in-ring “debut” next week.

Next week’s IMPACT will also feature a Knockouts World Tag Team Championship match pitting VXT against Mia Yim and Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace. This match came about when VXT interrupted Grace’s backstage interview to mock her for having the shortest tag title reign. Jordynne said she would take on VXT by herself, but Mia Yim stepped in and said she’d back Grace now that the two have established mutual respect.

Notably, there was no appearance by Masha Slamovich this week after she confronted Jordynne Grace at Emergence. However, Grace did mention in her backstage interview that she is ready to defend her title against anyone, and that Masha is at the top of that list.
