Jazz & Jordynne Grace earn a Knockouts Tag Team Title shot at Sacrifice on March 13

IMPACT’s next event on IMPACT Plus is Sacrifice and the Knockouts Tag Team Titles will be on the line. The champions Fire ‘N Flava will be defending their titles against Jordynne Grace & Jazz.

At the last IMPACT Plus event, No Surrender, Fire ‘N Flava retained their titles against the team of Havok & Nevaeh. Grace & Jazz earned this upcoming title shot by winning a number one contenders match on this week’s IMPACT as they defeated Susan & Kimber Lee. To conclude the match, Grace was locked in an ankle lock by Susan and after she avoided tapping out she delivered a Grace Driver to pick up the win.

Grace and Jazz then stumble upon ODB who was attacked backstage. Grace comes to the conclusion that it had to have been Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo who did this.

Also this week Havok & Nevaeh are spotted backstage discussing their recent losses. Havok is trying to convince Nevaeh that just because they have hit a rut in the win column doesn’t mean they have to break up. As Nevaeh walks away Tenille Dashwood is on a mission. She heard everything that was said and tries to recruit Havok. Havok declines.

Knockouts Tag Team Titles on the line at No Surrender in a Texas Tornado No DQ match

IMPACT’s next special event No Surrender on IMPACT Plus is this Saturday and there will be three matches involving the Knockouts. The newly crowned Knockouts Tag Team Championships will be on the line as the champs Fire ‘N Flava (Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz) face off against the Killer Death Machines (Havok & Nevaeh).

These two teams were in the finals at Hard to Kill in January to determine the new champions with Fire ‘N Flava coming out with the big win. Over the past two week’s Havok & Neveah have each had a one-on-one match with Steelz & Hogan. Both times, Havok and Neveah have sneaked out a win which has boosted them to this title match.

For Havok’s win, Nevaeh helped trip up Steelz which gave her tag team partner the power to get the pin. This week, Nevaeh won via disqualification after Steelz was seen by the referee executing a codebreaker on her which caused Hogan to lose.

The champions enraged that the referee’s recent decisions weren’t in their favor, they took it to Scott D’Amore. He then provides the stipulation of a Texas Tornado No Disqualification match at No Surrender to spit the champions.

The other Knockouts on this card revolve around two six-person tag team matches. The first includes the returning ODB. ODB made her return last week to IMPACT after a year’s absence. This week, she took on Kimber Lee who spoiled the veterans return match. With Susan and Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo in her corner, it is easy for any opponent to get distracted. This is what happened to ODB and Lee rolled her up for the upset.

As a result of what transpired, we will see the trio of Purrazzo, Lee, and Susan take on ODB, Jordynne Grace, and Jazz at No Surrender.

Lastly, Tennille Dashwood is teaming up with XXXL (Larry D & Acey Romero) to face Decay in an intergender match. Decay now has a new member as Black Taurus made his debut this week alongside Rosemary and Crazzy Steve.

Check back in this weekend for a Discussion Post to talk throughout the No Surrender event. It takes place this Saturday, Feb. 13.

Havok & Nevaeh advance to Hard to Kill for the tag titles; Jazz vs. Grace at Genesis

Havok & Nevaeh are moving forward to the final match in the Knockouts Tag Team Title Tournament. Either Havok & Nevaeh or Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz will become the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions at Hard to Kill on Jan. 16.

The Killer Death Machines advance to the final round by beating the perhaps favored team of Jordynne Grace and Jazz. In the final moments of the match, Jazz is left isolated in the ring as Grace falls to the outside. This allows Havok to deliver a Tombstone Piledriver to pick up the pin on the legend.

After the match, the losing team is seen backstage as Jazz finds Grace. Grace feels remorseful that they weren’t able to advance to the finals and puts blame on herself. She explains she is frustrated and winning the tag titles meant everything to her. Grace apologizes although Jazz an apology isn’t necessary. She was grateful to get into the ring with the younger generation.

Grace then propositions Jazz to a match. She was grateful to have a match alongside Jazz and now she wants to go one-on-one with her. Jazz seems to have accepted the challenge and the two will face each other at Genesis which takes place this Saturday on IMPACT Plus.

What are your thoughts on Havok & Nevaeh advancing? Are you excited to see Jordynne Grace vs. Jazz? Leave your thoughts below!!
