Deonna Purrazzo comments on who she would like to see in the Knockouts division

IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo has had quite the past year in her career. Since joining IMPACT mid-2020 she is now a two-time Knockouts Champion and the future is bright for her.

Since joining the company several other women have also been added to the roster. It has grown with the additions of such stars as Tasha Steelz, Kimber Lee, Nevaeh, and Kylie Rae (who has since announced her retirement). Ring veteran Jazz has also been a staple for a number of months now and ODB has just made her return to the company.

Having said that and the company introducing the Knockouts Tag Team Titles back into the picture they sure could use some more talent. While speaking with A Wrestling Gal podcast, Purrazzo comments on some women she would like to see in IMPACT.

“Oh, gosh, I think I’m just like women’s wrestling, so I don’t know about men, but I have like a list of people that when the opportunity is right, I’d like to present and hopefully get into Impact Wrestling. And like atop of that list is Hyan, is Rok-C….. is Jody Threat….. But those three are, that I think could benefit so much from being on TV and being with Impact Wrestling in our Knockouts Division could do the same with those three people. Willow Nightingale is another one who I suggest to everyone always because I’ve known her since we both started and I just want to see her get the opportunity to really showcase herself to the world. So yeah, I just think our vision has grown so much in the last year and I’m excited to see in the next year or two years or three years where it can go even further.”

She also discusses who she would love to face. She includes Madison Rayne who just hung up her boots but she invites any prior Knockout to come back as well. Purrazzo mentions ODB, who just returned, as well as Velvet Sky and Brooke Tessmacher.
