Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey set for the SmackDown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 38

Ronda Rousey has made her decision as a result of winning this year’s Royal Rumble Match. She has chosen to face Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 38 in April for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

At the end of this week’s SmackDown, Rousey made her debut on the blue brand to make her decision. Before Rousey came out to the ring, WWE official Sonya Deville stated that Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch informed her that Rousey picked her. Because of what Lynch had apparently told Deville, she said that Flair gets to choose her opponent and she wants Sasha Banks.

Rousey then made her way down to the ring and said that she never made any official decision. She officially decides to choose Charlotte. Deville starts to have words with Rousey which causes her to be put into a bad situation as The Baddest Woman on the Planet took her down on the mat in an armbar. Flair looked on from ringside.

Before Rousey can get to Flair at Mania, Naomi has been granted a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Championship on next week’s SmackDown.

At the time of this writing, this is the only women’s match confirmed for WrestleMania 38. Check back in with Diva Dirt for more news on WrestleMania as the match gets closer.
