Chelsea Green injured during NXT debut, required surgery

Chelsea Green made her NXT debut last night at the NXT tapings for Full Sail University and unfortunately broke her wrist. The injury required her to go into immediate surgery today to repair the break. The break occurred mid-match, but Green was able to finish the match and even hit her finisher move, the UnPrettyHer.

Green was last scene on WWE TV as a contestant on Season 6 of Tough Enough. This was the same season that featured Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville and Velveteen Dream. She also played Daniel Bryan’s physical therapist, Megan Miller, in a storyline from 2014. WWE signed her to a developmental deal in August of 2018.

Green, who trained under the tutelage of Lance Storm, has been wrestling all over the world since her 2014 debut. She has wrestled for Lucha Underground, Rise and Impact to name a few. During her time in Impact, she was an Impact Knockouts Champion under the moniker “Hot Mess” Laurel Van Ness.

We wish Cheslea a quick recovery and look forward to her return to the NXT ring. She is a very talented wrestler and should make a huge impact when she returns.

Keep checking back to Diva Dirt for updates on Green’s recovery.
