Chelsea Green Was Pitched To Win Royal Rumble After Everyone’s Elimination

Chelsea Green was at one point pitched to win the women’s Royal Rumble at the number 30 spot. The caveat would have been that everyone else would have already been eliminated.

WWE has released a documentary series named “Unreal” on Netflix. On this, there was a moment for the 2025 Royal Rumble that Triple H had not decided who would win the women’s Rumble. One of the writer’s suggest maybe an underdog to win. Another writer pitched the idea of Green winning. This would involve a double elimination after the number 29 entry. Green would come out as number 30 to an empty ring and automatically be the winner.

“Horrible option. You get entrant #29 in there, and they come in, there’s only two women. They end up doing a double elimination. So whoever’s number 30, automatically wins. Chelsea Green. Walks down, wins the Royal Rumble. That’s it.”

Green ended up entering at the number 5 spot. Charlotte Flair made her return from injury to win the match and become the only woman so far to win a second Royal Rumble.
