CMLL Weekly Review: Las Chicas Indomables Fight Las Infernales Till The End, Copa Herederas Announced!

Hola a todos, and welcome to the CMLL Weekly Review!

This week the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions Las Chicas Indomables (Lluvia & La Jarochita) fought their current rivals Dark Silueta and the CMLL World Women’s Champion Zeuxis in a couple of tag matches.

First, on the Martes de Glamour (Tuesday glamour nights), they faced each other in a four-woman tag team match. With no time to lose, las rudas attacked their opponents right away during their entrances, exchanging punches, kicks, smacks, and slaps. At the end, the babyface team got the win via submission.

The same day in Mexico City, the Mexican National Women’s Champion India Sioux teamed up with Kira and Lady Metal to compete against her future challenger Hera, her sister Olympia, and the former Mexican National Champion Sanely.

Highlights included a twisted bliss from Hera, smooth highflying moves from Kira India Sioux and Olympia, but at the end Las Técnicas won the match after Kira finished things up with a diving moonsault on Sanely.

During the week it was announced that to commemorate Father’s Day, the CMLL will introduce the first-ever Herederas Cup. All the participants are second-generation wrestlers from their father’s side, including Lluvia, La Jarochita, India Sioux, Hera, Sanely, and La Maginifica. The match will occur in the CMLL special event for Father’s Day around the third weekend of June.

In a more heated back-and-forth, Las Infernales and Persephone won the match with a bridging German suplex and a lifting double underhook facebuster to the knees.

This will be it for now. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
