CMLL Weekly Review: Lluvia Shines In Stardom, India Sioux To Defend Mexican National Title

Hola a todos and welcome to the CMLL weekly review! This past weekend Lluvia successfully defended her title at STARDOM in KORAKUEN 2025 from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

She defeated Mei Serai to retain the CMLL Japan Women’s Championship.

Back in México, Lluvia’s daughter Tabata teamed up with Kira to defeat Olympia and Candela in tag action. Kira won with a moonsault, while Tabata won with the Guerrero Special (inverted superplex).

On Wednesday it was announced that the ROH Women’s World Television Champion Red Velvet will return to CMLL to face their breakout star Persephone in a singles match on June 17th.

While the Mexican National Women’s Champion India Sioux will defend her title against Hera, during an interview for CMLL Informa, Hera stated that it will be an honor to face her and that they will make sure that this will be a gift not only for them but for the fans.

Finally, on Friday, in a match relámpago with a ten-minute time limit, La Catalina faced off against Persephone. With a lot of near falls, Persephone was able to look strong even in defeat, as it was La Diva who was able to get the win over Persephone after a running knee to the face.

This will be it for now. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
