Cora Jade will be back in action this Tuesday for the first time since leading her team to victory at WarGames.
She will be facing Dakota Kai who was on the losing team at that event and who Jade had lost to in a singles match in early November. Now with the WarGames win under her belt along with a confidence boost, Jade feels that she could become the next NXT Women’s Champion. But first, she has a rematch with Kai.
Last week, Jade was backstage in an arm sling after her big maneuver from the top of the steel structure at WarGames just days prior. While discussing who should have the next shot at Mandy Rose‘s title with Raquel Gonzalez, Kay Lee Ray arrived. KLR gives Jade her bat and says she will most likely need this moving forward.
Per WWE –
Cora Jade made a splash in her first WarGames Match to usher in “The Generation of Jade” at the expense of Toxic Attraction and Dakota Kai. That loss stoked the fires of the twisted Kai, who brutalized Jade in her singles return to NXT 2.0.
Jade’s surprise attack in response to Kai’s beatdown helped pave the road to the eventual WarGames showdown, and despite surviving the brutal clash, the two still have unfinished business.
But can Jade survive the wrathful Kai after injuring her shoulder at NXT WarGames? Tune in Tuesday night to NXT 2.0 at 8/7 C on USA to find out!
At the time of this writing, this is the only women’s match/segment announced for this week’s show.
In other news, Sarray has returned to the United States from her trip back to Japan. She made the announcement on her Twitter but there hasn’t been any confirmation from WWE on reintroducing her back into the fold just yet. Sarray’s last match was on Nov. 9 in a losing effort against Kay Lee Ray.
Her tweet reads –
I got a lot of power surrounded by my Japanese family, friends, and loved ones for the first time in 9 months. Life shines because I dream
