Discussion Post: RAW 01/13/20

Last week’s RAW didn’t produce a good starting point for the RAW brand in 2020. There was no progression with Liv Morgan‘s return from the week before besides a backstage segment. In that segment she said this week she may need to be in Rusev’s corner as he faces Bobby Lashley as Lana will be in his corner.

Last week also saw Becky Lynch interact with Asuka as they head towards their title match at the Royal Rumble. Lynch would get the upper hand as she would knock the Empress of Tomorrow down before leaving the ring and making her way up the ramp. Tonight we will see a contract signing between the two.

The closest that fans got to a match last week was when Charlotte Flair was supposed to take on Sarah Logan. Logan, however would attack Flair before the bell rang. The two would continue to brawl until Flair was able to come out on top.

Flair is currently the only female from RAW that has announced her entrance into the Royal Rumble match to take place on Jan. 26. From SmackDown we have Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. Will more participants be revealed tonight?
